Question 1

How often should I get my car serviced in Reservoir?

Accepted Answer

Most manufacturers recommend a logbook service every 10,000–15,000 km or every 6–12 months, whichever comes first. Regular servicing helps maintain your vehicle's statutory warranty and reduces the risk of unexpected breakdowns.

Question 2

Do I need a Roadworthy Certificate (RWC) to sell my car in Victoria?

Accepted Answer

Yes. In Victoria, a current Roadworthy Certificate is required when transferring vehicle registration to a new owner. Albert ST Automotive can carry out a full inspection and issue the certificate on the spot if your car passes.

Question 3

What are the signs my car battery needs replacing?

Accepted Answer

Common warning signs include dimming headlights, a slow engine crank when starting, and intermittent electrical issues. If you notice any of these, it's best to have your battery tested before it fails completely.

Question 4

How do I know if my radiator needs repair?

Accepted Answer

Signs include your engine running hotter than usual, coolant leaks under the car, or a sweet smell near the engine bay. Regular radiator inspections and coolant flushes can catch problems early and prevent overheating or engine damage.

Question 5

Does Albert ST Automotive service all car makes and models in Reservoir?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the team works on cars, 4x4s, and commercial vehicles across all major makes and models, with additional specialisation in Toyota, Mazda, and Korean brands.
